Atom N570 Netbooks Coming In March


There were a surprisingly low number of new netbooks released at this years CES, with most just being slightly updated versions of previous netbooks updated with AMD’s latest hardware. There was on the other hand a lot of attention on tablets, causing some doubt in the netbook market.
But a recent article states that the netbook market is expected to maintain shipments of about 30 million units in 2011. It also states “The impact of Apple’s iPad had previously caused industry players to turn pessimistic toward netbook’s future; however, after a short-term of observation, the players have recently started changing their view about netbooks and believe the devices will still have a place in the market.” This is very good news for netbooks.
Intel is due to launch their new dual core Intel Atom N570 processor, which is an update that their dual core N550 (1.5GHz), which provides a speed boost with two cores running at 1.66Ghz.
The Intel Atom N570 CPU should be available in February with Asus, Acer, Samsung, Toshiba and Lenovo all releasing netbooks powered by the N570 in March 2011.
This March release date coincides with CeBIT, so we will probably see a number of new netbooks on display there which we look forward to.
So far we already know of the Samsung NC110 and the Lenovo S100 Netbooks.

Fujitsu has recently launched its latest tablet PC with the name “Slate PC”, where the gadget is equipped with Intel Core processors second-generation combined with an Windows 7 Operating system. Slate PC comes with several features and modern facilities, such as multi-touch technology and several other mobile applications. With the multi-touch technology, enabling a user is able to write content in several ways, such as typing, writing, and touching.
Basically, Fujitsu Stylish Q550 is a product of four-point multi-touch technology, thus providing ease of input data directly and quickly. Stylish Q550 is a tablet PC that combines high security with multi touch facilities. Stylish Fujitsu Q550 is equipped with the latest generation of Intel Atom CPU that is highly compatible with Windows 7 Operating system.
For features, this product is equipped with several facilities such as W-Lan, Bluetooth, 3G, and several other wireless applications. With dimensions that are not too large, which are only about 275 X 192 X 16.2 mm, enabling these gadgets are very easy to use. As for the display, the screen size that is used is also quite wide, which is about 10.1 inch. This gadget is also equipped with a memory capacity of 2GB. As for data storage, hard disk capacity used reaches 30GB.
