The Asus Slider is a hybrid tablet with a keyboard which slides out from under the tablet, converting it in to a kind of netbook / laptop form factor. This makes the Asus Eee Pad Slider a very productive tablet.
The Slider is currently being listed and is shipping out from Amazon for $699. But this is through a third party seller, and when Amazon has the slider direct we’re sure we will see prices drop to a starting price of $479.
