The N E W iPhone 5 / iPhone 4S - Coming October 14, 2011

The iPhone 5 / iPhone 4S is COMING in 2011!!!

The all new iPhone 5 / iPhone 4S release date is October 14, 2011! The NEW iPhone 5 or as some call it iPhone 4S has reviewed well. Lots of speculation is going around on the new iPhone 5... in HD!! The iPhone 4S will not be in HD but will be packed with new features. It will contain the newest Apple operating system for iPhone, the iOS 5. (Video below).
The new iPhone 5 / iPhone 4s is going to be loaded with awesome new features like video chat on 3g and 4g (no longer restricted to WiFi only), face recognition and extreme downloading. Also there is a new chat service between Apple devices! Similar to the blackberry messenger service. It has also been integrated into the SMS/MMS application used originally on the iPhone models. (List of possible features below). Just when you think there is nothing else to come up with, more and more and more technology comes out. And it is on the rise, and not just at Apple, Inc!
This iPhone 5 and iPhone 4s will be equipped with a speedy dual core A5 chip processor and higher more powerful graphic chips that can deliver higher video resolutions (5-9 times better and 7 times faster) and amazing "still" images when taking pictures, AND it will make multi-tasking a lot faster.
Will the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4s rock at 4G speeds? Yes! There are a few networks attempting to get their 4G network off the ground. T-mobile would be a likely carrier since they are GSM already and have the largest 4g network, however AT&T now has a 4G network. AT&T's 4G HSDPA network gives speeds 7.2 times faster than their 3G speeds. Sprint has a 4G network already but is suffering from customer service, however Sprint has announced they will also be getting the new iPhone 5 and of course Verizon already has a 4G LTE network (LTE = Long Term Evolution) and they too will get the New iPhone 5.
Apple on Tuesday unveiled the iPhone 4S, a faster version of its best-selling smartphone that includes a virtual "personal assistant" you can talk to.
The iPhone 4s will now contain a a personal assistant called Siri. Siri will allow you to talk to your phone and give it commands. You will also be able to "talk to text" which means you can speak and it will translate in to text for you.
iPhone 4s looks promising in terms of being sleek, packed with new hardware and finally less restrictions. Very exciting.
A few features of the new iPhone 5:
Thinner! With shiny glass back piece - 9.3 mm thick.
Face Recognition Security
Face Time still only on WiFi unless you Jail Break OR download Tango. With the Tango app, you can use their app to video chat on 3g and 4g networks.
Custom SMS tones (possible).
Custom E-mail alerts with ability to assign different tones to each email address
A new, sleeker body design.
Better display - 4 inch screen! Scratch proof and shatter proof screen.
8 MEGAPIXEL Camera!
iCloud which allows for wireless sync with iTunes and all other devices.
iMessage - chat service instead of texting (between Apple devices).
32G (basic) and 64G of memory. You're sure to never run out.
Extended battery life = 14 hours talk time on 3G and 7 hours on 4G. Standby 600 hours.
Hi Definition audio.
Messaging indicator light.
iOS5 - direct manipulation and easier multi-touch gestures.
HTML5 but may allow Adobe Flash Player

Who's network do you want to see the new iPhone 5 / iPhone 4s on??? Should Apple stay with AT&T? See what others are saying below.

Asus UX31 Hands on

 source : http://www.netbookreviews.net/asus/ux31/
Asus have announced two very impressive Ultrabooks, the 13.3-inch Asus UX31 (which we will be covering here), and the smaller 11.6-inch Asus UX21.
The Asus UX31 ultrabook has a 13.3-inch display with a very high 1600 x 900 pixel resolution (higher than many 15.4-inch laptops), and is remarkably thin at just 0.67-inches, the same as the smaller 11.6-inch UX21. The weight is also very light at just 1.1 kg (2.4 lbs), which is 250g (0.56lbs) lighter that the current 13-inch MacBook Air. So the UX31 really is lighter than Air.
The base configuration of the UX31 sees it come with an Intel Core i7-2637M (1.7 GHz) processor and a 128 GB SSD. Battery life is quoted at 7 hours.
Other specifications include an SD card slot, 2x USB ports, Mini-HDMI and Mini-DisplayPort outputs.

gadget - kodak

Kodak may have fallen behind in recent times in the digital camera market, but it is still up and running and continuing to survive. While its businesses have been seriously hurt when cameras transitioned from film into the digital realm, it has since been trying to make a comeback of sorts by integrating digital technology into its new devices. One of the recent launches it made includes the new Kodak Playfull Waterproof Video Camera.
The new Kodak Playfull Waterproof Video Camera combines features that most people today may look for in a video camera. First of all, it is a video camera that can record 720p HD video. It is small and portable, with a size as big as a credit card. The sleek design makes it easy to slip into one’s pocket or purse when not in use.
The Kodak Playfull is also designed to be durable. Despite its diminutive size, this portable video camera is dust proof, drop-proof for up to a drop of 5 feet and waterproof up to a 10 feet depth and immersed for up to 2 hours. It comes with an 18MB internal memory and an SD card expansion slot that can accommodate up to 32GB of extra storage. The Kodak Playfull Waterproof Video Camera is expected to be available by the 2nd week of October. It is currently available for pre-order at Kodak for US$100.

Samsung N230

The Samsung N230 is the latest 10.1-inch netbook offering from Samsung.
It builds on the success of their popular N210 / N220 netbooks, and has only been available for a very short while. My Samsung N210 review was very popular with over 65,000 views and 100 comments, and is currently my netbook of choice, so I have very high hopes for Samsung’s latest ultra sleek model.
When the Samsung N230 was first announced, on paper it didn’t sound anything too special, with most of its specifications remaining the same as in the previous N210 / N220 model, with the Same Intel Atom N450 processor. But when we first clapped eyes on the photos of the N230 it became clear that the N230 was indeed a special netbook.
